Registered Manager (clinical leadership, complex care expertise and standards)

Deep clinical experience that strengthens safe, dignified care at home

Our Registered Manager is a highly experienced nurse with 22 years of broad nursing experience across large hospital environments (private and public), including over 15 years in ICU. She brings calm decision-making, strong assessment skills, and a safety-first approach—especially valuable when needs are complex or changing.

Her clinical foundation (15+ years in ICU)

ICU experience builds exceptional attention to detail, consistent safety checks, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This shapes how she leads care planning and oversight at Firmly Care—supporting safe routines, clear documentation, and reassurance for families.

Complex care capability in the community

Alongside hospital work, she has also supported complex needs in home settings, including:

  • Tracheostomy care, ventilation support and cough assist
  • Enteral feeding support (PEG/PEJ/NJ)
  • Spinal injury support (including preventing autonomic dysreflexia)
  • Suprapubic catheters and nephrostomy tubes
  • Bowel management, skin integrity care, and safe manual handling using specialist equipment
